A relic of devotion and damage, I Was Yours is an original mixed-media heart sculpture suspended in quiet surrender. Bound with rope and housed within a deep matte black frame, it sits somewhere between confession and artefact. A piece that feels both intimate and unsettling, like something once hidden and finally unearthed.
Built slowly over months, the heart was constructed in layers: torn fabric, bandages and stitched detailing, sealed beneath dark washes of pigment and hand-painted blood effects. Every bruise, crease and thread is deliberate - a record of return, restraint and the kind of love that doesn’t disappear… it stains.
It doesn’t simply hang. It lingers. It remembers. It whispers: I was yours.
